Manchester United legend Dennis Law has died at the age of 84, his family has announced.
Law, who confirmed in August 2021 that he had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and vascular dementia, was one of the United Trinity players immortalized on a statue at Old Trafford alongside George Best and Sir Bobby Charlton. It’s a person. To his fans, he was simply known as “The King.”
“It is with heavy hearts that we announce the tragic passing of our father, Dennis Law,” the Law family said in a statement Friday night. He fought a tough battle, but now he can finally find peace. I got it back.

Law is United’s third-highest scorer of all time behind Wayne Rooney and Charlton.
Law, who won the Ballon d’Or in 1964, won the European Cup, two English titles and the FA Cup during his 11 years at Old Trafford, scoring 237 goals in 404 games in all competitions.
He is the club’s third-highest scorer in history after Wayne Rooney and Charlton. He also won 55 caps for Scotland and scored 30 international goals.
Born in Aberdeen, Law started his career at Huddersfield Town, went on to play twice for Manchester City and also played for Turin in Italy.
He first joined City in 1960 for an estimated £55,000, which was a British transfer record at the time.
The following year he moved to Turin for £110,000, and he broke the record again in 1962 when United shelled out £115,000 to bring him to Old Trafford.
