The woman turned a dull kitchen wall into a complete masterpiece with thousands of 1p coins.
During the blockage, Billie Joe Wellsby, 49, from Burnley, Lancashire, realized he had plenty of free time in his hands and decided to be creative at home.
The beautician wanted to decorate a boring and basic kitchen for a while, but wasn’t keen on forking hundreds of pounds into a professional decorator.
Instead, she came up with a very unique idea, which still required major changes, but not the way you expected.
Billy literally changed the wall with thousands of 1p coins.
One day she stuck copper coins on the walls of the two kitchens, giving the space a whole new look.
And it only costs £ 75, which is the value of glued coins.
Billy shared the finished look on Facebook and the post quickly received nearly 3,000 likes and over 400 comments.
“Oh my god, I absolutely love this,” wrote one person.
Another Facebook user praised the beautician for her time and attention to detail when creating the wall, adding, “You have the patience of a saint! This looks brilliant.” ..
“Wow, that’s cool. I saw the penny floor, but I’ve never seen it on the wall,” another said.
And one witty person had no choice but to make a joke: “It must be quite expensive.”
Billy said: “In total, I applied one penny worth £ 75, which is equivalent to 7,500 penny.”
“I used a very thin layer and applied clear silicone to all of them one by one.
“I had never seen the walls covered with walls, so I wanted an industrial look for the kitchen, so I thought this was perfect.”
Billy revealed that the walls also have sentimental implications.
She states: “Some of my clients used a penny in a tip jar at work, so it was a bit like integrating their memory into a wall.”
It takes nine and a half hours for the beautician to complete the project, and she doesn’t have enough new kitchen.
A corpse found in a 3,000-foot bag off the coast of Tenerife, 6 years old, “snatched by dad”
After suffering a fatal puncture wound on his way to school, medical personnel begged the boy, 15 years old, “keep fighting”
She states: “I absolutely loved it, and there were a lot of comments from people that it must have been very patient to put coins on the wall in a very accurate way.
“Everyone is in awe of it. I struggled with the blockade, and decorating was my liberation.
“The end result is far better than anyone can imagine, and I think it exceeds my own expectations.”
