Emergency services rushed to the M180 between junctions 5 and 4 in Barnetby at around 11.15am on Sunday following reports of a collision.
When emergency personnel arrived, they found a Mitsubishi Outlander had crashed into a tree and three people were inside.

The driver, a 34-year-old man, sustained only minor injuries and was arrested at the scene.
