Chennai (Tamil Nadu) [India]April 22 (ANI): Water technology giant Va Tech Wabag secures safe and clean drinking water and sanitation for more than 71 million people worldwide with London’s Global Water Intelligence (GWI) It was ranked 4th in the world.
This is the only Indian organization featured in the top 25 water companies in the world. The company has made consistent progress over the years-it ranked 10th in 2017 and 6th in 2019.
“With the vision of ensuring water sustainability, Wabag has continually innovated and implemented new advanced technologies in the area of water and wastewater treatment,” he said in a statement Thursday.
According to Wabag, he produces 26 million cubic meters of clean water every day to quench the thirst of millions of people. We treat 30 million m3 of wastewater every day to ensure a clean and healthy environment. It also desalinates 1.2 million m3 of seawater daily to supplement freshwater sources and treats 2 million m3 of industrial wastewater daily to protect water bodies.
In addition, we recycle 2.5 million m3 of wastewater daily for industrial and non-drinking reuse purposes.
Mr. Wabag said the sustainable solution is in line with the United Nations SDG-6, which aims to ensure clean water and sanitation for all by 2030.
