Legendary Hell’s Kitchen chef Mr Gordon, 58, has taken third place in the rankings of the world’s richest chefs with a whopping £180 million.
Celebrity chef Jamie, on the other hand, rose to stardom after appearing on The Naked Chef in the late ’90s and quickly became famous.
He left school at the age of 16 and honed his culinary skills in Paris and London before cementing his status. After appearing in a documentary in 1997, he appeared on television, which later led to his own show.
Meanwhile, Gordon’s promising career in football ends with a shocking injury that leads him to pursue a career in the culinary industry.
The TV chef, who once learned the ropes from legendary chef Marco Pierre White, founded the Gordon Ramsay Restaurant in 1997, which earned 17 Michelin stars overall and still holds eight stars.
The ranking comes after Jamie shared a scathing comment from his eight-year-old son River about his success as a chef.
This celebrity chef has achieved worldwide fame over the past 30 years with numerous television shows, cookbooks, and restaurants.
But Jamie admitted that his wife Jules Oliver, 50, and son are less than impressed with his career trajectory.
“River said this to me the other day. I don’t know where it came from, but ‘Dad, do you have a Michelin star?'” he recalled on The Graham Norton Show earlier this month.

“People are cooking less than ever before. We have a fourth generation that hasn’t learned to cook. So I want people to get the most out of their food, minimize waste and save money. We want to help people save money.”
Jamie has four other children, Jules and River, whom he married in July 2000 in Essex.
They are parents to Poppy, 22, Daisy, 21, Petal, 15, and Buddy, 13.
Buddy chose to follow in his father’s culinary footsteps and even published his own cookbook.

The chef admitted he was initially “embarrassed” about the ceremony but ultimately “probably enjoyed it” [the day] More than anyone
On the Newlyweds podcast, he told hosts Jamie Lane and Sophie Habou:
“So, it was when I was 23, and the girls were going off to college and stuff, so it felt like the nest was starting to fall apart.
“We went to the Maldives because we had never had a so-called luxury vacation.
“To be honest, I was a little embarrassed about the whole thing.
“I wasn’t really interested in it until I got there, but once I got there I think I probably enjoyed it more than anyone else. It was great.”
The couple exchanged vows for a second time in Las Vegas earlier this year, celebrating their 24th wedding anniversary.
