The UK government has launched a new one digital strategy and datasetting out plans to transform government digital services, upskill civil servants and streamline online processes by 2025.

The 21-point roadmap, entitled ‘Transforming for a Digital Future: A Roadmap 2022 to 2025 for digital and data’, is overseen by the Central Digital and Data Office, the department in charge of the digital, data and technology function of the government.

The key commitment of the strategy is to upgrade at least 50 of the most used government services by 2025 to ensure they are efficient, easy to use and accessible on mobile devices.

According to the strategy paper, all government departments will have to confirm an adoption strategy and roadmap for One Login for Government by April 2023 and start boarding by 2025.
