Mother of a two-month-old baby missing from Washington DC She was charged with murdering her son after admitting in a video that she had dumped her son’s body in the trash while taking a large amount of hallucinogens.
Ladonia Boggs, 38, was a felony murder related to the presumed death of her little son, Kyon Jones, who was last seen alive on May 5 but was not reported missing until two days later. Was arrested on Friday for felony murder.
As of Monday afternoon, police had not found his body, but continued to look for it.

In a shocking interview with disappearing activist Henderson Long, Fox 5Boggs claimed that he died when his son was sleeping with him in bed, and later she disposed of his body.
“The last thing I remember was that I was turning over and he was in my chest. Then when I was asleep and when I turned over, he was unresponsive. I realized that … breathing, I panicked, “Boggs says in the video.
In an interview with an activist, Boggs admitted that Kyon died while sleeping with her in bed, and she “panicked” and dumped his body in the trash.
The mother said she went out and went around the block “several times” before returning to her apartment to check her son, who hadn’t breathed yet.
“I went home and got a blanket and his child seat, wrapped it up and took it out. [threw] Put it in the trash, “she said. “And that happened.”
According to court documents, Boggs provided a conflicting explanation to the boy’s father and police about what had happened to his son.
The woman initially told Kyon’s real father that the baby would die “for a long time” because DC Child and Family Services took care of him, but the agency refused to give birth.
During an interview with police the day after Kyon was reported missing, Boggs reportedly admitted that he had died while sleeping between her and the wall.
Boggs said he found the baby unresponsive under the stomach when he woke up.
In a follow-up interview with police, the mother allegedly admitted that she panicked and threw Kyon’s body into the trash while her PCP was high and hallucinating.
Police officers and corpse dogs searched the landfill in Virginia last week looking for Kyon’s body, but couldn’t find it.
Boggs also said he did not know the whereabouts of Kyon’s body.
Surveillance videos from Boggs apartments showed her carrying plastic bags, cardboard boxes, and child seats to dumplings.The box was listed in the court records cited by WTOP As “large enough to carry a two month old baby”.
Last week, a police officer with a corpse dog searched a landfill in Virginia, but found no missing boy.
At the time of his arrest, Boggs withdrew her statement that he used PCP at Kyon’s death, claiming that he last took the drug a day or two ago, according to court documents.
Boggs was released without being detained by DC’s pretrial service agency following her prosecution on Saturday. She will return to court on November 19th.
