Stevenson Harwood employs more than 1,100 people worldwide with offices in London, Paris, Greece, Hong Kong, Singapore and South Korea.
The firm confirmed The Independent that it will offer these employees the opportunity work from home full-time at reduced pay.

“For reasons of resources during the pandemic, we hired lawyers who were not in London but lived elsewhere in the UK.
“The packages we offered were different from what we offer our people in London. They are completely remote and are not expected to visit the office regularly. If they are needed in the office, we cover their travel and living expenses. “
Workers in London are often paid a known premium for location, which means they get paid more for work than elsewhere in the UK. Stevenson Harwood argues that workers leaving London can work at a lower rate.
Whether there is one firm in this is unclear. Last January, Income Data Research asked 29 companies that paid placement premiums if they planned to change the premium in light of the pandemic.
None of the companies said that at the time, but the situation with work at home was difficult to predict then and remains now.
Other law firms have tried to lure office workers with sweets. The Times last week reported that another London firm, Hogan Lovells, had paid for a brood of puppies to be brought to its offices within two days.
