The giant RAT-sized moth I found at school is so heavy that I have a hard time flying.

A monster moth about the size of a mouse was found at an elementary school construction site.

The giant creatures discovered by merchants outside Mount Cotton State School in Brisbane, Australia, are reportedly too large to even fly.

With over 600 students, the school branded the discovery “amazing” by posting pictures of moths on social media channels.

Principal Megan Steward said the moth is roughly a combination of two fists and could be the largest moth in the world.

she said news.au: “We weren’t in school when the builders found the moths, but they took some pictures for us.

“There were 4-5 classes living in the new building (1 year), and the teacher showed the students a picture of a giant moth, which they used as a stimulus for creative writing.

“They wrote a very imaginative story, such as Mrs. Wilson (their teacher) being eaten by moths!”

The children were visibly impressed with the discovery, but she said she was accustomed to seeing unique animals coming from the nearby rainforest.

This is because the moths in question are common between northern Queensland and southern New South Wales, distinguished by a gray and dark circular pattern.

Moths have also been reported to be heavy enough to struggle to fly, with women often climbing trees and waiting for men to find them.

Officially identified as a tree moth by Dr. Christine Lambkin, Dean of the Entomology Department at the Queensland Museum.

She told the Australian press that the species was “very interesting” because little was known about what insects would do in the first year of life.

What is certain is that it is about 4 cm long, digging a hole in a eucalyptus tree and eating it for about a year.
