Police confirmed that the girl’s body, found in a bag 3,000 feet above sea level off Tenerife, was a missing six-year-old girl who had been kidnapped by her father.
Olivia Guimeno was identified after an autopsy of the body in a sports bag on the seabed near the port of Guimar, Spain.
Spanish rescuers found the bag tied to an anchor 1,000 meters below the surface of the water.
Hunting for the girl’s sister, Anna, and one, is still underway after the second holdall in the sky was discovered nearby.
Beatrice Zimmerman, the distressed mother of the two girls, was informed of the horrifying discoveries.
Her ex-Thomas Antonio Guimeno, 37, disappeared with the girls on April 27 because she did not return to her home in Santa Cruz, the capital of Tenerife.

Last night, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez tweeted in response to tragic news that investigators might have found her body. I just heard.

In a moving post to 24 million Instagram followers shortly after the mystery disappeared, Georgina Rodríguez said:

“Their moms are asking for the maximum promotion of this video in order to find them and take them home as soon as possible.

Local governments said from the beginning that all theories had been explored, including the possibility that the girls died, but their loved ones said they were still alive and reunion with their mother could still occur. He said he was sticking to the hope of having sex.
Guimeno took the girl without consent and put Tenerife on a boat. The boat was later emptied off Puertit de Guimard on the eastern corner of the island, just over 10 miles south of Santa Cruz.
Police were using a boat rented by the Spanish Institute of Oceanography to look for clues where the Guimeno movement signal was last detected.
Guimeno never accepted the relationship between Beatrice and his new Belgian partner after the split.
Beatrice said after the dive bottle was found on Monday, she thought it was part of an attempt to disguise his flight with a girl by her estranged partner.
