The 49-year-old woman, who was crossing between two parking vehicles in an attempt to prevent the hit-ship driver from fleeing, was sitting pinched when the truck from behind collided with a silver car, which rammed into her. Two other pedestrians fell to the ground.

The truck driver was driving off the road when the woman screamed in apparent suffering. The police are looking for the driver who remains free.

The woman was transported to Jamaica Hospital in critical condition, NYPD confirmed to DailyMail.com. She is not expected to survive.

The truck left the woman trapped between two cars

The driver of a Ford F-550 truck hit the victim Sunday at 8:33 a.m. after attempting a U-turn at 167th Street and 120th Avenue near South Jamaica.

Video shows the truck, sporting the words Pawar Builders on the side, hitting multiple cars while turning at the intersection.

‘Oh my God, this car hits all these cars, brother,’ says a resident who recorded the accident on camera.

Residents marched on the road, trying to prevent the driver from leaving the place. But the suspect went on.

‘Oh my good. No!’ shouted the bystander as the truck collided with another parked car and the mother was trapped between two vehicles.

The suspect then drove down the street and fled when the woman’s family walked up to her while she was screaming in pain. Her daughter cried too.

Police later found the truck at 164th Place and 108th Drive, but the driver was nowhere to be found.

Traffic violence is becoming an epidemic in New York City, which has reported a more than 41 percent increase in total crime so far this year.

Saturday, around 8:15 p.m., an elderly man was killed after being hit by a minibus in the Bronx.

John Dellacava, 72, was trying to cross E. Tremont Avenue at Roosevelt Avenue in his battery-powered wheelchair when he was hit by a 25-year-old woman driving a Toyota Sienna.

NYPD said his first injuries were minor and paramedics has transported him in stable condition to Jacobi Medical Center.

However, he later died at the hospital from serious internal injuries. Police said Dellacava lived less than a mile from the scene of the accident.

The driver, who remained at the scene after he hit him, has not been charged and the incident remains under investigation.
