Teletubbies reunited before the 25th anniversary and released a new album.
The titles are Ready, Steady, Go! It will feature 10 songs, including the title track single and Peekaboo, due out on September 25th.
Celebrating next year’s milestone, Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po will release eight singles and accompanying music videos every Saturday, with the full album coming out October 15.
The band will release their ninth studio album Music Of The Spheres on the same day, so the release will see them face Coldplay directly on the charts.
It could also rekindle the 1990s chart battle with the Spice Girls, who will release their biggest hit, Spice 25, two weeks later on October 29th to commemorate their 25th anniversary. ..
The girl group defeated the pop-hit Teletubbies. Their song Too Much made it the number one spot for Christmas in 1997.
The Teletubbies hit single has been in the Top 100 for 41 weeks since the 1998 Teletubbies-album, with over 1.3 million copies sold.
The original children’s television series aired from March 1997 to February 2001, and the revival aired from November 2015 to October 2018.
They also released the album Big Hugs in 2017 with a new series of music.
The series, with the characters “er” and a sports antenna on their heads, aims to encourage young children to creatively watch TV and “nurture their child’s development.”
