A teenager is accusing him of finding him, his young cousin, and a stranger who saved his uncle from drowning in the Lake District last week.
Mahmood Desai (15 years old) and Muhammad Namaj (12 years old) on Family Day Windermere Thursday, July 22nd, around 6 pm.
After his uncle tried to save the pair and was in trouble, the beach couple “did not hesitate to come to help.”
He posted a plea on social media in hopes of finding a kind stranger and “gratitude to them.”
Mahmood said he and his cousin were swimming together on Family Day, when the lake suddenly deepened.
After realizing that Muhammad couldn’t touch the bottom, he panicked and began to grasp the muff mood.
“I’m a confident swimmer, but I’m starting to struggle with his weight and strong currents pushing us down,” he said.
According to Mahmood, the man jumped into the water to rescue his cousin, and the woman told her to hold hands with her uncle and drag her safely to the shore.
“My mother was just screaming for help,” Mahmood said.
“Everyone was shocked. I gave them some biscuits and juice, but after that I didn’t ask for contact information or name, so I would like to personally thank them.”
Preston’s teenager said he later understood how lucky he had escaped after reading that four people had drowned on Loch Lomond over the weekend.
“I’ve swam in the lake before, but the flow was too strong,” he said.
“I thought I wouldn’t have been here if the couple hadn’t been on the beach at the same time.”
Edina Olahova, 29, Rana Haris Ali Lost their lives Connor Markward, 16, died in another incident on Saturday night, along with his friend Muhammad Simriaz, 41, near Palpit Rock on Loch Lomond.
