Subway strike: I’m confused and commuting today because some lines have been affected-‘I’m very disappointed’ | UK | News

Passengers on the London Underground have been warned that great turmoil is expected during the strike from November to Christmas. The TFL warns that strikes can “significantly reduce service on these routes throughout the day with little or no service at the location.”

The strike will begin on Friday, November 26th at 4am with a 24-hour strike and will continue until December 18th.

This is followed by action starting this weekend, every Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 pm to 4:30 am.

Unless agreed, this action, scheduled to continue every weekend until December 18, was summoned to coincide with the reintroduction of the Nighttube service.

The TFL states that drivers need to make about four night tube shifts a year. This clashed with a new system created in May when Nighttube staff were added to TfL’s “Daytube” workforce.

“The revival of the Night Tube is a crucial moment for the night economy, and for Londoners traveling late at night, to improve travel times and add safe travel options.

“We have been meeting with RMT for several months through Acas and trying to solve the problem. We will continue to discuss it.”

Several routes are affected, including the Central, Jubilee, Northern, Piccadilly and Victoria lines.

The Bakerloo, Circle, District, Hammersmith, City and Metropolitan routes can be confusing, but there are no strikes on the routes themselves.

Significant delays are expected on the Central, Jubilee, Northern, Piccadilly and Victoria routes, with little or no service in some locations.

The full strike time is:

From 4:30 am on November 26 to 4:29 am on November 27 (Central, Jubilee, Northern, Piccadilly, Victoria Line)
