The 2021 American Music Awards began on Sunday with some stunning looks on the red carpet.

Music and entertainment celebrities were dazzled at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, including Olivia Rodrigo, Cardi B, and Jojo Siwa.

This year, AMA has added new categories such as your favorite trend songs, your favorite gospel artists, your favorite Latin duos or groups.

Rapper Pop Smoke, who was killed in 2020, was nominated for three categories, including his favorite hip-hop album and his favorite hip-hop artist, and was the first to win his posthumous award.

Country star Morgan Wallen has won two nominations in the country category, but will not be included in the award show after being captured in the video using racist terms.
