High Wycombe, UK, 8 March 2022 International POS printer manufacturer Star Micronics announces launch of its TSP100IV POS printer. Designed for PC POS in retail and hospitality as well as tablet and cloud POS applications, this latest model in the Star TSP100 series has multiple interfaces together with integrated Star CloudPRNT technology ™ for direct printing from bespoke platforms and websites line. It also utilizes Android Open Accessory (AOA) support for direct communication and loading with Android compatible devices.

With 2.5 million units sold worldwide to date, the TSP100 series is one of Star’s most established printer ranges. The new TSP100IV offers a unique design along with enhanced connectivity and print features for the latest cloud and tablet POS.

Offering a plug-and-play solution with an internal power supply, the TSP100IV can act as an instant plug-in replacement for other TSP100 models. However, unlike previous TSP100 single-interface models, the new TSP143IV UE model has multi-connectivity on a single model with Ethernet and a USB-C port for Windows, Linux and MacOS devices as well as a USB-A port for direct cables’ data & charge. ‘for Android tablets and USB-C and MicroUSB mobile devices.

Android Open Accessory (AOA) support enables direct data charging and charging of Android tablets and connected mobile devices or peripherals if the printer hub is in use.
