Stacey Solomon paid tribute to the “sincere and humble” music magnate Jamal Edwards after his tragic death.
The 32-year-old, who appeared with Jamal’s mother Brenda Edwards, 52, at Loose Women, shared a heartfelt tribute to the music entrepreneur, who died at the age of 31 on Sunday, February 20.
Stacey shared a photo of Jamal with her five million followers on Instagram, the caption: “One of the greatest, best, most sincere and humble people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Just devastating. My thoughts and prayers are with Brenda, Tanisha and all of Jamal’s relatives. ”
The photo, re-shared by Stacey, was published by Jamal to his 160,000 followers in August 2019, with the caption: “A plan without action is just a dream.”

Stacey joined other Loose Women stars in a tribute to Jamal and joined Andrea McLean, Denise Welch and Christine Lampard in sharing social media posts.
Ruth Langsford also wrote: “My heart breaks for my friend @brendaedwardsglobal after the loss of her amazing son Jamal yesterday. I can only imagine her unbearable pain. Grief is the price we pay for love.
“@loosewomen we will embrace her and try to fill her with all the strength we have. My condolences and love to you, my dear friend, Tanisha and your whole family. RIP Jamal.”
Christine Lampard shared a photo of her husband Frank with Jamal and wrote: “Completely devastated. The most remarkable young man. @Brendaedwardsglobal we are here for you and your family at this terrible time.”
This comes after Brenda issued a statement after the devastating news that her son and SB.TV founder Jamal Edwards, who helped start the career of Ed Sheeran and Jesse Jay, has died.
In a statement read by Susanna Reed for Good Morning Britain, Brenda said: “With the deepest heartache, I confirm that my beautiful son Jamal Edwards died yesterday morning after a sudden illness.
“I, his sister Tanisha and the rest of his family and friends are completely devastated. He was the center of our world.”
In a statement posted online, Brenda continued: “As we come to terms with his death, we are asking for privacy to mourn this unimaginable loss.
“I would like to thank everyone for their messages of love and support. Jamal was an inspiration to me and to so many people. Our love for him lives on, his legacy lives on. Long live Jamal Edwards, MBE, MBA, PHD – Brenda Edwards. “
