A school principal has described a six-year-old boy who died from head injuries in a fall as a “much-loved pupil”.

Mohamed Yaseen Uddin, who attended Marlborough Primary School in Small Heath, Birmingham, died earlier this week.

It is believed that he suffered a head injury as a result of a fall, but the full cause of his death is not yet known.

He is remembered in the eulogy as a “wonderful and much-loved student” who was “incredibly kind, kind and considerate.”

Razia Ali, executive principal at Marlborough College, said: “Our school community is devastated by the tragic loss of one of our wonderful and much-loved students.”

“We know this is a huge shock and very upsetting for many within our school community.

“We are so grateful that he was a part of our community and so proud of everything he has accomplished as well as his family. He was a very fun boy and an integral part of our school community.”
