Salesforce extends Flow automation across Mulesoft, Slack and Tableau

Salesforce is expanding its Flow process automation tool to enable it to build and drive a wider range of workflows and process automation from its large family of enterprise applications.
Announced in 2021, Flow is a low-code tool that initially consolidated various process and workflow automation tools for Salesforce users to build workflows between the various parts of the Salesforce suite.
Now, from the acquisition of integration specialist Mulesoft, a chat application Leac and the data visualization tool tablethe company is expanding Flow to operate across all of these applications.
“This is automation on a unified CRM platform only. New features for Flow give users the ability to drive streams from analytics dashboards, use low code to easily integrate with any system, and interact with streams directly within Slack, where people spend most of their time , ”Said Patrick Stokes, general manager of Salesforce Platform.

Flow Integration for Mulesoft
Mulesoft is an enterprise tool that helps customers integrate their various applications and free up data among them. With Flow Integration, users can integrate data from any business system into workflows, including those on the premises.
Salesforce is asking too add robotic process automation capabilities later this year, whether smarter automation should be provided, as a suggested data source or the next best course of action.
Flow in Slack
Slack is working on helping customers automate common actions within their chat application for a few years nowespecially since the acquisition of Missions in 2018, which specializes in workflow automation.
Le extension of Flow for Slack later this yearcustomers will be able to automate manual tasks, such as creating a new Slack channel when a deal closes, or sending an account status update, directly within the chat application.
Flow Actions for Tableau
Finally, Flow Actions will allow Tableau users to launch new workflows or trigger actions directly from the right when new data is added or a certain threshold is reached.
