The fallout from Jen Shah’s fraud allegations continues as she tries to decide which of her friends she can trust on Sunday’s new episode of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

Jen finally meets up with Lisa Barlow several days later, leading to a heated brunch that ended with Jen unsure she could trust Lisa anymore.

Meanwhile, Whitney Rose revealed a rumor that Mary Cosby and her husband Robert were ‘predators,’ while even hinting that they may have had something to do with Jen’s legal troubles… after she bad-mouthed her church.

Trust: Jen finally meets up with Lisa Barlow several days later, leading to a heated brunch that ended with Jen unsure she could trust Lisa anymore

The episode begins in Park City with Meredith and her assistant Matthew, with Meredith’s son Brooks showing her his new designs.

He shows her what’s supposed to be a self-portrait and Meredith says it looks ‘just like you,’ when she gets a visit from Jennie Nguyen

Jennie is still dealing with her husband, who wants another child when she doesn’t want more kids, when her husband dropped quite the bombshell, suggesting a ‘sister wife.’

Designs: The episode begins in Park City with Meredith and her assistant Matthew, with Meredith’s son Brooks showing her his new designs

Jennie said it was completely, ‘out of the blue’ and Meredith said there was no way she could do that.

Lisa stops by and they tell her about her sister wife situation, which she agrees with Meredith and says she’d never do that.

‘If John asked for a sister wife, John wouldn’t need a sister wife because he wouldn’t have a first wife,’ Meredith says in confession.

Jen Shah is in the car driving, when she gets a call from Heather, where they talk about having lunch with Lisa, saying how upset she is at Lisa seemingly ignoring her.

‘So to have somebody that I talk to more than anybody, I don’t understand,’ Jen says in confession, as Lisa arrives to have lunch with Jen at Carson Kitchen.

Jen says she’s doing as good as she can right now and it’s been hard on her and her family, which, ‘is the part that hurts me the most.’

Lisa says she’s looking at her as innocent as Jen says she needs her friends and loved ones to be there for her.

‘This experience really showed me who my real friends are,’ Jen says, as Lisa explains herself in confession.

‘After a lot of conversations with John, he was like, “Normally, you would be the first one to run and call Jen, to be there at her side. This is not you. You need to go meet with Jen.” And I thought about what he said, and he was right. Taking this time to process doesn’t make me a bad friend. It makes me real and not a fake. And actually I think it’s right for Jen, because I’m in a better space to have a good conversation with her,’ Lisa says in confession.

Innocent: Lisa says she’s looking at her as innocent as Jen says she needs her friends and loved ones to be there for her

Friends: ‘This experience really showed me who my real friends are,’ Jen says, as Lisa explains herself in confession

Lisa tells her at the lunch, ‘You know, um, I took a little bit to get back to you because I have to, like, think through things ‘cause my feelings are hurt on some stuff.’

Jen says she never knew Lisa’s feelings were hurt and she hasn’t really talked to her much since her kids’ party.

‘When you came at me that hard, I felt very broken by you. And I couldn’t sleep. I was up the whole night, and I still had to be a mom. I still had to work. And I’m, like, emotionally f***ing wrecked,’ Lisa says.

Hurt feelings: Lisa tells her at the lunch, ‘You know, um, I took a little bit to get back to you because I have to, like, think through things ‘cause my feelings are hurt on some stuff’

Never knew: Jen says she never knew Lisa’s feelings were hurt and she hasn’t really talked to her much since her kids’ party

‘But I am, too. I’m still a mom. I still work. But it’s okay that you’re feeling that way, but I was feeling that way, too. Does it make sense? Do you understand where I’m coming from?’ Jen says.

Jen adds that it was the ‘lowest point in my life, and you go silent,’ but Lisa said she didn’t and she’s here for her now and she’s been there for her more than anyone.

Lisa adds it makes her ‘unpopular in our friend group’ that she’s friends with her, and Jen adds, ‘If it’s unpopular for you to be friends with me, don’t be friends with me.’

Lowest point: Jen adds that it was the ‘lowest point in my life, and you go silent,’ but Lisa said she didn’t and she’s here for her now and she’s been there for her more than anyone

Unpopular: Lisa adds it makes her ‘unpopular in our friend group’ that she’s friends with her, and Jen adds, ‘If it’s unpopular for you to be friends with me, don’t be friends with me’

Heather asks her brother Tyler if he wants to play a game as they start playing, revealing in confession that Tyler has been raising his kids in Switzerland for the past 15 years.

Fairweather: Jen wonders in confession if she can trust her now and she calls her a ‘fairweather friend’ and won’t be there for her

Be there: Lisa wonders what she needs and Jen says she just needs her to be there for her

Heather and Tyler: Heather asks her brother Tyler if he wants to play a game as they start playing, revealing in confession that Tyler has been raising his kids in Switzerland for the past 15 years

Tyler says that after Heather decided to leave Mormonism, he decided to give up the religion as well.

‘After hearing about what you had come to the conclusion, I said, well I’d better look into this, because I trust you. And so that’s a spark for me to get me moving,’ he added.

She says in confession, ‘When I decided to not practice Mormonism anymore, I didn’t tell a soul, and the last person I would’ve told was my brother. Like, I literally went to his home in Zurich. They had every single doctrine and law of the Mormon Church. Like, they were living it. They did family home meeting every Monday. They, during covid, did Zoom church for three hours in German with their children in church clothes.’

He insists that she hasn’t ruined anything and insists that she actually saved his family.

Jen and her family are seen praying on the last day of Ramadan, with Jen thinking it’s a ‘blessing’ she is going through her most difficult time in her life during Ramadan.

Jen goes downstairs with her husband Sharrieff Shah, who says they might need to make a move and downsize so they can focus on clearing her name.

‘I need to get us a place where we can get a smaller spot. We don’t have to pay as much and think about conserving because the most important thing is being able to fight for your freedom,’ Sharrief says.

Family: Jen and her family are seen praying on the last day of Ramadan, with Jen thinking it’s a ‘blessing’ she is going through her most difficult time in her life during Ramadan

Husband: Jen goes downstairs with her husband Sharrieff Shah, who says they might need to make a move and downsize so they can focus on clearing her name

‘I went to Cameron just to hear more about his experience, because I felt like I was starting to finally have the experience that everyone talks about with Mary, and after talking to him, I was just thinking, if Lisa knows what Cameron shared with me, then I get why Lisa doesn’t want to, like, upset Mary either,’ Whitney said.

‘In the Vietnamese culture, When we have conflict, we sit down in a nonthreatened environment and kind of talk it out and listen to each other. This is Mary. Whitney is right there. Let’s find peace. Internal peace,’ Jennie says in confession.

Whitney says in confession that even in our darkest hour, we could all use a little grace sometimes.’

Culture: They all meet at the International Peace Gardens for a luncheon, with Jennie getting there first, saying in confession that she wants the ladies to know who she is, ‘by getting to know my culture’

Meredith asks Jennie if she wore the lingerie but she says in confession that she won’t ‘reward’ her husband after asking for a sister wife.

Meredith notices that Jen is arriving, as she told Jennie that, ‘didn’t we have this conversation to not invite me if you invited her?’

Meredith says in confession, ‘I’m an adult. I’m not going to leave because Jen is here. I’m a little more mature than that. I’m just gonna glide through the lunch and…not engage.’

They all wait for Mary, as Jennie says her culture shares food with people to share love as drinks are brought out along with spring and summer rolls.

Mary finally arrives and gives Jen a hug and jokes that she’s on time with the food, as Lisa shows Mary photos of Jennie in a blonde wig.

Mary says she loves Jennie’s ‘slanted eyes’ which clearly upsets Jennie who says in confession, ‘Did Mary just say she likes my slanted eyes? [Laughs] Does she not know it’s inappropriate? That is not even a compliment. If this wasn’t my event, Mary would’ve been on the ground.’

Mary seems to question everything as Jen keeps insisting she doesn’t know they people they were asking her about.

Mary said that she never talked about her, but Heather says Mary said ‘terrible things’ about Jen at Vail, as they show flashback clips from Vail where Mary was definitely saying bad things.

Jen breaks down tearfully and says she had, ‘no idea what the f**k is going on,’ but Mary says in confession that she doesn’t think Jen is guilty.

Question: ‘And I didn’t know that there was any charges against me or anything. So, of course, I’m telling them everything, like, “What do you wanna know? This must be a mistake’

Lisa and Mary start going after each other as Jen keeps telling them to stop but they keep jawing, as Mary wonders if anyone has a backbone.

Lisa says this is ‘bulls**t’ and says everyone is fake, Mary says she felt ‘betrayal’ but Jennie has had enough and says she’s lying.

‘If you’re gonna talk s**t about Jen behind her back, then own up to it. Since you’re a lady of God, be more honest, because you preach to your congregation about honesty. Mary, be honest about it. Stop lying,,’ Jennie says.

Backbone: Lisa and Mary start going after each other as Jen keeps telling them to stop but they keep jawing, as Mary wonders if anyone has a backbone

Betrayed: Lisa says this is ‘bulls**t’ and says everyone is fake, Mary says she felt ‘betrayal’ but Jennie has had enough and says she’s lying

Mary says she doesn’t need to be there and gets up and leaves, as Jen breaks down and says she needs a minute and she goes to talk to Jen.

Mary sits down with Jen and slips up right away and says, ‘I pray to God you’re guilty. …You’re innocent. Why did I say that?’

Meredith gets up and says she’s going to leave, telling Lisa she has been screaming for a half hour and she has to go.

Jen and Mary come back and they all apologize for everything blowing up.

‘I just want to let you guys all know, I promise, on my kids, my husband and my dad, I am innocent. I did not do any of the things that have been alleged against me. I understand everybody needs to process things on their own, and that’s okay. I know–I know it’s a lot,’ Jen says.

Stay: Heather says they missed the whole point of today as Meredith goes to leave and Lisa goes to talk to her, breaking down and asking Meredith to stay for her

Heather adds, ‘The world may seem to be against you, but it’s not. And you have people in your corner,’ but Mary adds, ‘Well, I wouldn’t say that, Heather.’

Jen adds, ‘I just…need people around me that… That believe in me and are there for me. Really, that’s all’ as the episode comes to an end.

In a preview for the next episode, as Jen’s mother plans to get her a million dollars for her legal fees as Whitney tells the girls what Mary said about ‘messing with her church.’

She also mentions that Meredith hired a private investigator and now it seems that both Mary and Meredith might have ‘known something’ about what happened to Jen, while Jennie confronts Mary about her ‘slanted eyes’ comment.

Mary: Heather adds, ‘The world may seem to be against you, but it’s not. And you have people in your corner,’ but Mary adds, ‘Well, I wouldn’t say that, Heather

Believe: Jen adds, ‘I just…need people around me that… That believe in me and are there for me. Really, that’s all’ as the episode comes to an end
