Project leader Hamish MacDonald held a tumultuous party at his Sydney home for $ 3.8 million on Saturday, sparking complaints of noise and knocking on police doors.
The 40-year-old journalist is believed to have hosted a gathering at his luxury three-bedroom property in Paddington to celebrate his wedding to longtime partner Jacob Fitzroy.
At least two NSW Police officers were called to the scene following complaints from neighbors who described McDonald’s party as “intrusively noisy”.
Noisy: Project host Hamish MacDonald (left, with longtime partner Jacob Fitzroy) hosted a wild party at his $ 3.8 million home in Sydney on Saturday, sparking complaints of noise and knocking on police doors.
“It’s so strong.” Six hours so far. I have a headache, “a disgruntled resident living on the same street told the Daily Mail Australia when the party was still in full swing.
They added the next morning: “It was torture for eight hours. If I had known, we would have gone to the Southern Highlands for the weekend with the kids.
Another neighbor said the speeches he heard at MacDonald’s home gave the impression that it was a wedding reception.
“I could hear the speeches, but not word for word. The music blared like in my own house. “Every room,” they said.
According to one eyewitness, the music “suddenly turned on at 11:54 p.m.”, just three minutes after officers visited the McDonald’s property.
Police confirmed to the Daily Mail Australia that officers had been called to the home.
Strong: At least two police officers were called to the scene after complaints from locals. A neighbor, meanwhile, said speeches at McDonald’s home gave the impression that it was a wedding reception, leading to rumors that he and Fitzroy (left) were married.
MacDonald was seen wearing a ring on his wedding finger at The Project three months ago, leading to rumors that he secretly married Fitzroy.
Although he did not draw attention to the ring during the show, viewers were quick to speculate that he may have finally made a deal with his partner.
It is known that MacDonald is extremely personal when it comes to his personal life, and completely left social media in 2020.

“He is … I was a little emotional. He really is the best person I know. It makes life a lot of fun. I did not know that such happiness was possible.
