Ian Hislop required treatment and a head bandage after being hit by an electric bike while crossing the road.
The Private Eye editor, 64, was spotted out in London with his wife last night wearing a stylish black tuxedo with a bow tie.
However, the “Have I Got News For You” star had a large white bandage wrapped around the back of his head.
Commenting on the injury, a spokesperson for the magazine confirmed: “Yesterday afternoon, he was struck by an electric bicycle while crossing the road.”
Although there was a collision, he was treated for his injuries and is said to be “okay.”
This comes after Mr Hislop was showered with glass after a gunman allegedly shot at his taxi during the morning rush hour.
The veteran journalist and satirist was in the back seat of the black taxi when the incident occurred.
The incident occurred just after 10am on Tuesday, October 2, during a traffic jam in Soho, central London.

A spokesperson for Private Eye confirmed he was “okay” after receiving treatment.
“I just saw a taxi on the street and it was parked right there,” a local worker told MailOnline on condition of anonymity.
“My colleague found it. All the back windows were broken and it was just a small black taxi.”
“I think it was around 10:30 a.m. when I saw it. All the police were there.”
Both Hislop and the driver escaped without injury after the incident occurred on Dean Street, close to the intersection with Oxford Street, where Private Eye’s offices are located.
The taxi driver told detectives that the car was stopped in traffic when he heard what sounded like something hitting the window.
Hislop has been editor of Private Eye since 1986.
The biweekly magazine is known for its satirical pieces and cartoons, as well as its in-depth investigations of politicians and city businesses.
Hislop is best known for being one of Paul Merton’s opposing team captains on the BBC panel show Have I Got News For You (pictured).
Private Eye is known not only for its in-depth investigations into the rich and powerful, but also for its satirical articles, jokes and cartoons.
During his tenure as editor of Eye magazine, Mr Hislop is thought to have become one of the most litigated figures in British legal history.
The magazine is unafraid to publish accusations against the rich and powerful, making it a magnet for defamation lawsuits brought by people with the dubious honor of publishing in the magazine.
According to reports, a quarter of the budget is set aside to pay for litigation.
Mr Hislop told The Independent in 2010: “When I took office, I made a number of very pompous statements that we were going to really cut back on defamation legislation and that this vile approach to defamation would no longer exist.”
“A few years later, I was able to enter the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest loss of all time, and I was able to win large sums of money several times.”
