Italian fashion photographer Paolo Roberti collaborated with the Duchess of Kensington on the 40th birthday portrait released yesterday from Kensington Palace.
Now a well-known photographer has begun shooting and revealed how 250 images were taken while shooting in the Kew Gardens. Prince William, 39, and a couple of kids picking their favorite to release.
Prince George (8 years old), Princess Charlotte (6 years old), and Prince Louis (3 years old) were included in Kate’s three impressive photo selections released on Milestone’s birthday.

The photographer explained how the family chose a black-and-white image of Kate pointing at the camera, calling it “a carefree girl is back.”
But he also claimed in an interview that she was initially “uneasy” when she first met Kate for tea at Kensington Palace last November.
Talk to corriere.it, The photographer said: “When I knew my photos using the model, I was a little scared to face the actual session, so it took about 4 hours of work.
“But once she started, it would be very easy, I reassured her.”
Paolo also added that he wanted the shoot to be “natural” and “timeless” without appearing “too established”.
He added: “[The shoot was] All in natural light. No makeup, no hairstyle, simple pearl earrings, rings …
“The focus of Kate’s face is her gaze and smile. I didn’t want her to be the Duchess of a woman too and too established, but as pure and modern as possible, the times Transcends. “

When Kate’s portrait is reopened in 2023, it will be included in the permanent collection of the National Portrait Gallery in London. A regular customer of this collection is Kate.
