Pret a Manger is set to join Ireland and Northern Ireland as it promotes expansion plans following the closure of dozens of stores during the pandemic.
The coffee and sandwich chain has said it plans to open 20 new stores on the island over the next decade, with the first to open in Dublin this summer.
Pratt has closed about 40 stores in Britain and cut 3,700 jobs since the beginning of Covid after inflicting significant losses when office workers switched to remote work.
