Amsterdam, June 2022: PPDS, the exclusive global provider of digital signage, interactive displays, products and solutions for professional and direct-view LED TVs, continued to strengthen its leadership teams in North America with the appointment of three AV professionals highly experienced and successful, Adam Coleman, Mitch Rosenberg and Jeff Handis.

Part of PPDS’s continued growth and expansion strategy, including attracting the industry’s most renowned and successful AV professionals, the new appointments bring an additional 90 years of senior sales leadership experience to the U.S. team, greatly enhancing its direct distribution. of LEDs and LFDs and channel operations.

In the newly created role, Mitch Rosenberg has been named the new Director of PPDS LED and LCD Video Walls. An important area of ​​concern for the company in 2022, PPDS has made significant progress in both the LCD and direct-view LED market over the past 12-18 months, with a series of highly innovative product announcements and high-profile installations. in a variety of verticals. Key announcements include the Philips DV LED 6000 series (enterprise) and the high-range Philips DV LED 7000 series (retail, public), with a brand new LCD solution to be announced at InfoComm 2022.

Reporting to Vince Schuster, Vice President of Trade, Professional Displays for PPDS, Rosenberg will be responsible for promoting awareness and new business opportunities across PPDS’s full range of Philips LED and LCD solutions in North America. This includes strengthening and extending PPDS integrators and channel partners by providing them with more insight into the unique benefits and opportunities of Philips Professional Displays over competitors, some of whom both Mitch and Adam have previously worked with. .

Working alongside Rosenberg, Adam Coleman becomes the new Solutions Manager for PPDS, LED and LCD video walls. Coleman joins the team to create and grow support for the Philips X and L lines, with a strong focus on direct viewing. Coleman will oversee the development of strategic training and learning programs for all levels, including sales training, installation / service support, and integrator / end user training.

Jeff Handis, who began his AV career in 1988, has been appointed PPDS Channel Manager – Distribution & DMR, overseeing growth at major distribution and DMR partners and working with their teams to lead the business.

Handis has extensive experience in the Pro AV and Consumer Electronics industries, working in multiple sales leadership roles with some of the world’s leading organizations.

All new team members will be present at InfoComm 2022 in Las Vegas (June 8-10, Philips Booth # N2021), where PPDS will make a number of major new business and partner announcements, as well as showcasing a range of new products and solutions. Products announced at ISE 2022 will also be on display, including the new Philips E-Line interactive education displays.
