Pop star Conan Gray is SLAMMED by fans for singing ‘Impossibly Bad’ national anthem at baseball game

Is this the worst national anthem ever sung at a sporting event? Pop star Conan Gray is HAMMERED by baseball fans after ‘Impossibly Bad’ rendition of Star Spangled Banner

  • YouTube singer Gray has more than 21 million monthly listeners on Spotify
  • Performed Star Spangled Banner at baseball’s Home Run Derby in Los Angeles
  • Star was hit with insult after insult online after his ‘tone deaf’ view

YouTube singer, who became pop star Conan Gray, has upset baseball fans by delivering what many call one of the worst folk songs ever heard at a Major League game.

The 23-year-old star was slapped on social media shortly after singing the Star Spangled Banner at MLB’s Home Run Derby event at Dodgers Stadium in Los Angeles on monday.

Fans blew him up for playing an off-pitch, off-key effort that had a lot of scrambling to press the mute button on their remote controls.

The pop star’s ear-splitting attempt was compared to other car crash versions of the Star Spangled Banner, such as Fergie’s infamous rendition at the 2018 NBA All Star Game

Gray’s view was quickly compared to other versions of the national anthem’s car crash, including Fergie of Black Eyed Peas’ horrific performance at the 2018 NBA All Star Game, which was so bad that basketball superstar Steph Curry burst out laughing.

He even made comparisons to the deliberate heinous attempt of actress Roseanne Barr at a San Diego Padres baseball game in 1990, in which she was seen so emaciated that she blocked her ears before spitting on the pitcher’s mound.

Gray can boast more than 21 million monthly listeners on Spotify, but baseball fans let that not stop her from beating him with insult after insult.

“I do not know who TF Conan Gray is, but that was the top 5 worst folk song renditions I’ve ever heard,” Patrick Sheldon wrote.

Zachary Krueger called for a “congressional committee to look into who chose the singer for the national anthem at the Home Run Derby”, while commentator Darren Rovell tweeted, “There are so many great singers in this country, it’s almost impossible to be so bad at a national anthem. ‘

‘) Who is Conan Gray? 2.) He may very well be the worst folk song singer of all time. Good lord, ‘added Matt Williams.

‘Bro, I think Conan Gray is deaf. That national anthem was as bad as that of Fergie, ‘tweeted Jake Riegel.

However, Gray’s fans jumped to his defense on social media, pointing out that the tune ‘was not even his style of singing’, claiming that the show was a ‘set-up’ meant to make him look bad, and repeated it believing that he ‘in fact CAN sing’.

Once the spectators had sung the anthem, they saw Washington Nationals star Juan Soto take out the derby for the first time, and defeated Seattle Mariners’ rookie Julio Rodriguez to become the event’s second youngest winner of the event.
