A woman spotted a man “lying on the ground” on the side of the A47 in Brundall, Norfolk, at around 8.50pm on Monday, December 30.

She was driving towards Brundall roundabout and stopped in a waiting car to check on the man.

As she did so, the man ambushed her and sexually assaulted her, police said.

Norfolk Police are now appealing to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or was in the area at the time and has relevant dashcam footage.

A force spokesperson said: “Police are appealing for witness or dashcam footage following a sexual assault on the A47 near Brundall.”
