Foxconn has closed some of its factories at its Shenzhen manufacturing power plant as a result of an outbreak of COVID-19. Foxconn, the world’s largest contract electronics manufacturer and Apple’s largest iPhone supplier, said it had “adjusted the production line to minimize potential impact,” and some of its factories have reopened. Computerworld executive editor Ken Mingis and Macworld executive editor Michael Simon join Juliet to discuss the potential impact of this shutdown on the mobile supply chain. They will also discuss Macworld’s review of Mac Studio and what’s new in iOS 15.4.
