Paddy McGuinness landed at London Heathrow on Sunday night and returned home to his family after it became clear his 11-year marriage was in trouble.
The Top Gear the presenter rushed to Thailand to film scenes for the next series of his motoring show, but on Sunday he returned to face the music after his wife Christine broke her silence over rumors their 11-year marriage was on the rocks.
Paddy kept a low profile as he carried his luggage through Heathrow, having earlier promised his wife a hug in a comment posted on her family photo on Instagram.

Paddy, 48, wearing a blue sweater, baseball cap and face mask, was loaded with bags of duty-free goods from Thailand, with stuffed toys for his three children seen inside the bags.
The presenter revealed on Instagram that he was happy to be back home after the work trip, writing alongside a video taken during his flight:
“I’m back baby! 11 hour flight but I really enjoyed shooting in Thailand, beautiful country. Still, no matter where I travel, it’s always good to come home! A cup of tea, clean bed linen and the kids are off. ❤️ #home #weekend #travel #weekend #workworkworkworkwork.’
He also added a comment to Christine’s family photo, showing the former model in a bikini while playing with their children in a kiddie pool. “Hugs tomorrow!!” he wrote along with two love hearts.

On Saturday, Christine revealed that she and her husband were going through a “very, very difficult time”, following intense speculation that the couple’s marriage was on the rocks.
Describing her mental state as “all over the place” in a new interview, the 34-year-old shared that she “won’t put up with things from Paddy that she might have in the past”.
The week before, Christine had set tongues wagging that there could be trouble in her marriage after jetting off on a girls’ holiday with girlfriend Chelsea Grimes, and later shared a number of cryptic posts

Speaking openly with The Sun’s Fabulous Magazine, Christine admitted: “I feel really quite raw and all over. What I could put up with in the past, I probably wouldn’t put up with now, and for him.
“I can’t deny that we are going through a very, very difficult time,” she shared.
But wanting to clear her name, the former model added that she was not the cause of the difficult situation.
“It’s just … we’ve been together for 15 years, married for 11 years: we’re going to have ups and downs — but this situation right now — I don’t want to get into it too much, but I’m just going to say don’t ‘don’t cause this situation,'” he continued she.

Describing the situation as ‘up and down’, Christine added that ‘the family bond will always be there no matter what – as she explained the pair met when she was a teenager.

It comes after a flurry of rumors that the pair were on the rocks in recent months as they holidayed abroad separately last month before his trip to Thailand.
And following her recent appearance on ITV’s The Games, fans were quick to note Paddy’s lack of public support, with the pair also caught up in what appeared to be a tense conversation.

Christine also shared a series of cryptic motivational quotes about “making positive choices” and “reinventing yourself completely.”
She wrote on Instagram: “Regarding the press… There’s just one thing I want to make clear right now… I didn’t put us in this situation.”
While a source recently told The Mirror that: “It’s been a very difficult time recently. The issues are very topical.
Explaining that they met when she was a teenager, Christine added: “What I could put up with in the past, I probably wouldn’t put up with now, and for him.”
They also added that the pair were “trying to work on different issues.”
Paddy and Christine are parents to their three children; twins Leo and Penelope, nine, and Felicity, six – all of whom have autism.
They have been together for 15 years, having met while Christine was modeling in a fashion show at the Liverpool tennis tournament, before tying the knot in 2011.
But it’s not the first time they’ve hit the headlines for their marriage, with Paddy pictured on a boozy night out with Nicole Appleton in 2018.
Admitting that the photos made her “sick” and what she felt was a “heartbroken moment”, Christine shared that she and Paddy no longer discuss the photos and have simply “moved on with married life”.
