Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon will be the next person in the long line of A-list stars to read C Beebies’ bedtime story, the BBC said.

The 45-year-old legal blonde star will make her debut later this month by reading a children’s book, Extraordinary. By Penny Harrison celebrating a special moment shared by family and friends.

She reads stories about Dolly Parton, Sir Elton John, Tom Hardy and more, and is broadcast nightly on children’s channels.

Opening the story, she says: “When you’re busy, you may not find time to notice the world around you. What you see every day is a bit … it may look normal.

“But if you stop and take a closer look, you’ll see that our world is extraordinary!”

When she sends the viewer to bed, Witherspoon tells them to look carefully at something the next day, which may also be something special, so it looks completely normal at first.

Witherspoon got her best actress Oscar, who acted as June Carter Cash in Johnny Cash’s Biography Walk the Line in 2005-also earning her BAFTA and Golden Gloves this turn. ..
