Olympics 2024 – Day 3: Paris Schedule, Latest Results, July 29 Events, Start Times, and Team GB Medal Prospects

Tom Daley and Noah Williams will compete in the men’s 10m synchronized diving, facing stiff competition from China’s triple world champions, Lian Junjie and Hao Yang.

Seonaid McIntosh will take part in the 10m air rifle event at 8:30 am, followed by Michael Bargeron in the men’s event at 11 am.

World champion Tom Pidcock returns for the mountain biking cross-country event at 1:30 pm, aiming to defend his Tokyo gold. He will be joined by under-23 world champion Charlie Aldridge.

Adam Burgess will compete in the men’s canoe slalom C1 event at 2:30 pm, where he will face Tokyo champion Benjamin Savsek.

In eventing, Team GB’s Ros Canter, Laura Collett, and Tom McEwen lead the standings going into the final day. The show jumping competition at 12:15 pm will determine their medal prospects, with Collett and McEwen also in the running for individual medals.

The men’s team gymnastics final will feature Max Whitlock, Joe Fraser, Jake Jarman, Harry Hepworth, and Luke Whitehouse at 4:30 pm, with the team having qualified third for the final.

Medals will also be contested in judo, with Lele Nairne competing in the women’s -57kg, and archery, featuring Team GB’s Conor Hall, Tom Hall, and Alex Wise in the men’s team finals.

In swimming, following Adam Peaty’s silver medal on Sunday, Matt Richards and Duncan Scott will compete in the men’s 200m freestyle final. Other British swimmers chasing medals include Oliver Morgan in the men’s 100m backstroke final and Angharad Evans in the women’s 100m backstroke final.

Great Britain’s women’s rugby sevens team will face South Africa in their quest for a quarter-final spot, while the women’s hockey team takes on Australia. Super-heavyweight Delicious Orie will begin his campaign against Armenia’s Davit Chaloyan.
