NRL WAG Zoe Marshall announces death of beloved grandmother

Zoe Marshall announced the sad death of her beloved grandmother in a heartfelt post on Instagram on Tuesday.

Former rugby league soccer player Benji Marshall’s 37-year-old wife shared a lovely photo of herself with her grandmother and her 3-year-old son Fox.

“Make our beautiful Nuna sleep peacefully,” she began using “grandma” in Maltese.

“We know you are dancing on from our Nuno with Ricky Martin [sic] In a wonderful leopard mini dress (with tassel) and red high heels.

She added: we love you. ‘

Other photos show Zoe’s affectionate grandmother hugging Fox when she was young.

Zoe shares Fox and his daughter Ever for six months with Benji, 36, who married in 2013.

In a conversation with the Daily Mail Australia last month, a proud dad and a star from Celebrity Apprentice Australia revealed how his humble upbringing influenced his decision as a parent.

“I grew up in a small town in New Zealand. We weren’t a wealthy family, so we didn’t have many opportunities or ways to get to where we were,” he said.

“Thanks to the way I grew up, I think I got to where I am.

“We didn’t grow a lot, but we had a lot of love, discipline, and respect, and I want my kids to do the same. ”

He added: “Obviously they will do a few things more than I do, but the principles are the same.”
