Nova’s radio station closed due to Chrissy Swan’s positive reaction to Covid-a few days after AFL star Jonathan Brown
Chrissy Swan is the second Nova radio star to test positive for Covid after the studio closed on Tuesday.
The TV personality announced the news on her Instagram page Wednesday afternoon, writing: After feeling a little tired and flattened, I took the test, and it returned positive.
“So far, I’m basically fine. In the worst case, I’m tired (although I think I’ve been tired for 20 years, so it fits my body).

“I’m double vaxxed, always check in with a QR code, contact everyone, and have been isolated since yesterday afternoon to prevent further spread.
“I’ll be back on air soon, but from home. Update! Don’t worry about your cute head about me xxx.”
According to The Herald Sun, both Nova and Smooth FM staff were blocked after the diagnosis. Neither team was on air on Wednesday.
The Nova statement states:
“Covid’s safety and response plans have been implemented, in line with all current Victoria State Government health advice and prioritizing staff safety.”
The news arrives a few days after colleague Jonathan Brown and his 9-year-old son Jack test positive on Saturday.
