A 14-year-old girl was stabbed after colliding with two other girls on the New York City subway.
The fight occurred near the 191st Street station in Manhattan’s Washington Heights neighborhood around 4 p.m. Sunday, police said.
The victim was stabbed in the torso and was taken to hospital in a stable condition.

Another MTA official told the newspaper that the girl’s sweater was stained with blood and that she was a little hysterical.
A 13-year-old boy accompanying the girl was injured but was not hit with a knife and was trying to stop the fight, police said. daily mail.
Police haven’t caught a suspect.
The stabbing occurred a day after Mayor Eric Adams and Gov. Kathy Hochul announced that the MTA and the city’s police department would work together to add 1,200 overtime shifts a day within the crime-ridden transit system.
The Cops, Cameras, Care initiative means that police will patrol the system nearly 10,000 more hours than is already covered.
