He graduated from TeI Aviv University with a bachelor’s degree in political science. In addition, he holds a master’s degree in international affairs from the University of Budapest Corvinus.

He has joined the Israeli diplomatic corps and has played an important role in representing Israel for over 30 years.

His wealth of experience includes the role of foreign policy adviser to the three prime ministers. He was Deputy Chief of Mission of the Israeli Embassy in Hungary (1990-1995), Political Counselor of the United Nations Permanent Representative in New York (1997-2000), and Director of Strategic Military. Office work of the Center for Policy Studies (2000-2002) and political counselor at the Israeli Embassy in Washington, DC (2002-2005).

From 2005 to 2009, Ambassador Giron was Director of International Affairs at the Center for Policy Research. In 2009 he was appointed Chief of Staff of the Foreign Minister. He then served as Deputy Director of Europe, EU and NATO (2009-2011).

From 2012 to 2016, Noor Giron was the Israeli ambassador for international organizations in Italy, San Marino and Rome. In September 2019, he was appointed Israeli Ambassador to the Netherlands and served until his arrival in India. (ANI)
