The CEO of the Global Processing Services payment technology platform has moved upstairs to the position of Vice President.
Joanne Dewar, who served as CEO for four years, it will keep its position on the GPS card. He will focus on the group’s growth and global profile and will continue to work alongside President Gene Lockhart in a newly created Office of the Chair.
Kevin Schultz has been named CEO, effective immediately.
Lockhart, former CEO of Mastercard – president and general partner of US-based equity growth firm MissionOG – was appointed chairman in January when the company announced a funding round worth nearly £ 300 million.
Schultz brings extensive executive leadership experience in payments and digital banking to his new role, where he will focus primarily on strategy and execution.
Most recently, he was the president of Fiserv’s digital banking group. He was also president of global financial services at First Data, after nearly 16 years at Visa, where he developed the debit processing business, Visa DPS.
