Legendary singer Meatloaf is reported to have died of a serious illness in Covid-19.
The musician (real name Michael Lee Aday) was 74 years old at the time of his death. This was announced in a statement posted on his official Facebook page on Friday.
“Our heart is broken to announce that the incomparable meatloaf has died tonight, surrounded by his wife Deborah, daughters Pearl and Amanda, and close friends,” it read.
“We know how much he meant to many of you, and as we survive this era of sorrow, we sincerely thank you for all your love and support.

Sources have said since then TMZ The star had a serious illness with Covid-19 earlier this week and was heading for a business dinner, but he soon got worse and had to cancel.
During the pandemic, Meatloaf discussed Covid’s limits in many interviews.
