Seven people have been charged in France with robbery during the day on the set of the hit robbery show on Netflix Lupine, according to the country’s media.
About 20 hooded thieves reportedly stormed the set late last month, throwing fireworks at the crew before stealing equipment worth about 300,000 euros (250,000 British pounds).
The incident happened during the shooting of the film in the Pablo Picasso district on the outskirts of Paris Nanterre.
None of the cast or crew reportedly including the show’s main star, Omar Si, were injured.
Filming was briefly halted and some equipment has already been restored after searches.
The seven defendants are between 13 and 21 years old.
They are accused of armed robbery as part of an organized gang and of receiving stolen goods, AFP reported.
Three of them have been detained and four are under judicial supervision.
Police say they are still searching for other gang members who are on the run.
“There was an incident on February 25 during the filming of Lupin’s upcoming season,“ Netflix said in a statement at the time. “Our cast and crew are safe and no one is injured.”
The show is inspired by the adventures of Arsene Lupine, a fictional master of disguise.
Omar Si plays the main character, a gentleman thief Asan Diop.
Two seasons of the show have already aired, with a third to be aired on an unspecified date.
Produced by the French studio Gaumont, the program is reportedly one of Netflix’s biggest international hits.

Lupine is not the first Netflix show to be targeted by thieves in 2022.
Valuable props used in the Crown photos were stolen days before the robbery in Paris in the United Kingdom.
Items worth up to £ 150,000 were seized during an attack on the TV company’s production site near Doncaster.
