Linda Carter showed herself in support of Diane von Furstenberg, who was honored with the desired Ruth Bader Ginsburg Leadership Award during a ceremony held at the Library of Congress in Washington, DC, on Friday night.

The 70-year-old Wonder Woman star shone with a wide smile as she posed for several photos on the red carpet of the event she chose to walk barefoot.

Carter wore a sensational sequined dress with long sleeves and a modest slit on one leg.

The Ruth Bader Ginsburg Leadership Award is given to women who have dedicated their lives to improving society.

The award was established by the late Supreme Court Assistant, as well as by the chairman of the Dwight D. Opperman Foundation, Julie Opperman.

Previous recipients of the award include Queen Elizabeth II and philanthropist Agnes Gund.

The 75-year-old von Furstenberg issued a statement in which she expressed through PR Newswire that she was very grateful to receive the award.
