Argentine businessman Roger Noles has insisted he had nothing to do with the death of his “very good friend” Liam Payne after the One Direction star fell from a third-floor balcony in Buenos Aires in October.
Mr Noles is believed to be one of five people authorities are investigating following the singer’s death from head injuries.
Argentine prosecutors suspect Mr. Payne abandoned it before his death. Four other people, believed to be employees of the Casasul Palermo Hotel, are also being investigated in connection with Payne’s death.
However, although Ms Noles previously denied being a person of interest in the incident, she said that when she left Liam an hour before the boy’s fall, Liam was “playful, happy and in good spirits.” “It was,” he claims.
“He was in a good mood and was talking to 10 or 15 Americans who were here for the wedding,” he told TMZ. TMZ has produced a new documentary investigating who is responsible for the shocking death of the pop star and father-of-one.
“There was nothing out of the ordinary because he was perfectly balanced and talking to everyone and having fun and laughing. So I said, ‘Goodbye.’
“He seemed playful and happy. I went to the hotel three times to check on him. He seemed tipsy, but nothing unusual happened.”
But witnesses claim Liam was “incoherent” and appeared to be under the influence.

The energy mogul was photographed with Payne in Buenos Aires, including at a concert with former bandmate Niall Horan.
According to Page Six, Noles was aware of Liam’s drug problem and had emailed Liam’s father, Jeff, and management about the issue.
“Liam stayed at my friend’s ranch in Palm Beach and was monitored and treated by a professional addiction physician from the first day he arrived.”
“He remained completely clean throughout his stay without taking any hard drugs.
“The plan was for him to prepare for a music tour and stay healthy and busy with work. He followed this plan successfully throughout his stay in the United States.”
But he continued, “I’m really concerned about his health while he’s overseas, so I regularly check on his health, just like I did while I was in the United States.” I hope they bring in a specialist doctor as soon as possible.”
I plan to stay completely out of the public eye and have no involvement in the future, but I wish Liam the best of health and success in his career. ”
Last month, Argentine media claimed that a Miami-based psychologist had written to Noles in September advising him that treatment was “impossible” for Liam due to repeated mental health crises.
She also warned of the dangers of mixing alcohol with sertraline, an antidepressant also known as Zoloft.
Toxicology tests revealed that Payne had alcohol, cocaine and sertraline in his system at the time of his death.

Indictment files obtained by Argentine journalist Mauro Seta show a message from an anonymous U.S. phone number from Florida offering an attendant $5,000 for “fun” and “partying.” . She was also sent a link to Payne’s Instagram profile.
Liam was staying at the hotel without his girlfriend Kate Cassidy, who had left Argentina and returned to Miami two days earlier.
Sources previously told the Mail that Cassidy became disillusioned with his relapse to drug use and decided to return to Miami.
After his death, his girlfriend wrote on Instagram: “My heart is broken beyond words.” I will love you for the rest of my life and beyond and will carry our dreams and memories with me wherever I go. ”
On October 16, the two women arrived at the hotel and went to Liam’s room. As previously reported, an hour later, Payne and the two women came down to the lobby and got into an argument over money.
The guards then showed hotel manager Esteban Grassi a text message exchange in which the person identified as Liam promised them $5,000.
According to Grassi, the singer then allegedly returned to his room and trashed it before returning to the lobby. He was then taken back to the room, alone again.
At some point shortly thereafter, Payne passed out while walking back to the lobby, then woke up and tried to sit in a chair at the hotel bar, at which point he collapsed again, Grassi said.

Surveillance cameras later revealed for the first time to the world that hotel staff grabbed Liam by the arms and legs as he returned to his room for the last time.
Prosecutors are reportedly considering bringing charges of “negligent homicide” against the staff member who took Payne back to his room instead of keeping him in the lobby during an immediate crisis.
After Liam collapsed, Grassi said she called Roger Nolles to let him know. Noles said she told Liam’s family that she would inform them, but she has not seen or heard from him since.
An autopsy report confirmed that Payne died from a traumatic brain injury after falling from a third-floor balcony and hitting the base of her skull on the base of a concrete umbrella.
The file also includes text messages from the bellhop to the hotel’s front manager, Esteban Grassi, in which Grassi claimed Payne asked him if he knew where he was getting the cocaine.
“He invited me.” [in] I went to his room (which was a disaster, by the way) and asked if I could get some cocaine,” the bellboy said in a text message.

Ms Nolles previously told MailOnline that she had been to the hotel many times that day and had “never abandoned Liam”.
The case is being supervised by Argentina’s domestic courts. Lawyers representing Noles had requested that his case be investigated by local prosecutors, which was initially approved by Laura Graciela Bruniard.
However, the National Prosecuting Authority appealed, and Judge Marcelo Lucini of the National Court of Appeal for Criminal and Correctional Affairs said this was “premature” and referred the case back to the National Prosecuting Authority.
Prosecutors reviewed more than 800 hours of video footage and took “dozens” of statements from witnesses, as well as data from Liam’s cellphone and the cellphones of others.
