Leave It To Beaver star Tony Doe has died aged 77.
The actor’s death was announced on Tuesday Facebook in a memo from its management team.
Dow’s death comes just two months after announcing in May that he had been diagnosed with cancer.

Doe did not name the type of cancer he was diagnosed with.
Dow dealt with health issues in August 2021 when he was hospitalized while battling a case of pneumonia, TMZ reported, noting that he had to spend 24 hours in the emergency room due to a spike in the Delta coronavirus strain at the time.
Lauren told TMZ that Dow did not have COVID-19 because he tested negative for the virus five times.
“On my behalf and on Tony’s behalf, thank you for your concern for him,” she told the publication.
Dow starred as Wally Cleaver on Leave It to Beaver in all 234 episodes of the show from 1957 to 1963 alongside Jerry Mathers and the late stars Hugh Beaumont, Barbara Billingsley and Ken Osmond.

Doe reprized the role of Wally Cleaver for the 1983 TV movie Still the Beaver, a 1987 episode of The Love Boat, and the 1983-1989 new series Leave It to Beaver.
He has also appeared in TV shows including Lassie, Adam-12, Mod Squad, Knight Rider, Charles in Charge and Murder, She Wrote.
The TV veteran has also worked extensively as a director, helming numerous episodes of shows including Harry and Henderson, Babylon 5, Swamp Thing and Darling, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show.
In addition to his endeavors in show business, Dow focused on sculpture for decades, with his work displayed in art exhibitions around the world. according to its website.
Dow played Wally Cleaver for the entire six-year run of Leave It To Beaver, from 1957 to 1963. He reprized the role in the 1980s in a reunion movie and series The New Leave It To Beaver, but last year revealed he was struggling with depression after being typecast
Dow earlier this year spoke with CBS Sunday Morningsaying he struggled with depression over being cast after finding fame early in life as Wally on Leave It to Beaver.
“I was going to live with that for the rest of my life,” he said. “I thought: this is not fair. You know? I mean, I’d like to do some other things. I would like to do some interesting things. You know, it’s sad to be famous at 12 years old or something, and then you grow up and become a real person and nothing happens to you.
He recounted how he became angry, adding that “anger, if left untreated, turns into depression.
“Depression is not something you can say ‘Cheer up!'” he said. “You know, it’s a very powerful thing. And it had a big impact on my life.
Doe said that along with undergoing therapy and taking medication, his work with sculpture has had a therapeutic impact in his battle with depression.
“I pretty much have it under control,” he said. “You know, I think people need to believe that they can feel better.”
