Huge 8.2 magnitude earthquake Caused tsunami fears in Alaska and Hawaii.
The quake struck the Alaska Peninsula at 10:15 pm. Local time (06:15 UK time), there were no immediate reports of property or loss of life.
The National Tsunami Warning Center has issued warnings to southern Alaska, the peninsula and the Pacific coast.
We also published a “Tsunami Clock” for the state of Hawaii in the United States.
The Japan Meteorological Agency is investigating whether the tsunami could hit Japan, and New Zealand officials said they are also assessing whether the coastal areas are at risk.
