Rapper Kodak Black was shot dead in front of a restaurant in West Hollywood, which is hosting a party after a concert by Justin Bieber, according to reports.
Sky News partner NBC News reports that the star with the real name Bill Capri is among four men shot dead early Saturday in front of the Nice Guy restaurant.
A video received from TMZ and posted on social media shows Black, who left the premises with an entourage including a friend and rapper Gunna, posing for photos with a group of people when a fight broke out.
Shots were then heard sending people to cover the incident on N La Cienega Boulevard to cover up.
A spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department said the men were 60, 22, 20 and 19 and the investigation was ongoing.
Officers are looking for a black suspect man who was seen fleeing the shooting and have asked all witnesses to come out.
Two of the wounded were taken to hospital by ambulance, and the other two went to the hospital for treatment.
All four are said to be in stable condition.
John Terzian, owner of Nice Guy, told NBC that Bieber hosted an after party at the restaurant on the night of the shooting.
The party came after Bieber held a private concert at the Pacific Design Center in the city as part of a Super Bowl week called “Weekend Homecoming.”
Among the guests were Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and his girlfriend, TV presenter Lauren Sanchez, Hamilton actor Anthony Ramos and NFL legend Tony Gonzalez.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Bieber and his wife Hailey Baldwin, Drake, Chloe Kardashian and Toby Maguire are among the celebrities who appear for the after party.
