The late Kobe Bryant and his daughter Janna were commemorated with a statue on the second anniversary of their death.

The statue was placed on a site in Los Angeles carrying a helicopter Kobe, Janna and seven other passengers crashed January 26, 2020. Died tragically in an accidentAnd Janna was just 13 at the time of her death, while NBA star Kobe was 41.

The monument shows that Kobe and Janna are standing side by side when their beloved father puts his hand on the shoulder of a teenager.

The inscription below the pair says, “Heroes come and go, but the legend is eternal.”

Dan Medina created the statue. Since the monument is temporary, it is required to place a permanent one at the crash spot.

Meanwhile, he vowed to put the sculpture there on all anniversaries of Kobe and Janna’s death.

He is currently working on a life-sized monument over 6 feet high, which was exhibited yesterday Wednesday, January 26th.

“It hasn’t been done yet and this is probably the catalyst for that. But I would like to donate whatever is here for free. It’s about finding a way to permanently install it. Hope. “

Kobe and Janna are survived by Vanessa Bryant, the mother of Kobe’s children, and three other children. Natalia, Capri, Bianca.

Vanessa, 39, filed a lawsuit in September 2020, claiming that she and her family were suffering from mental distress as members of the LA police and fire department shared a graphic photo of the crash site.

She is currently seeking damages for “negligence, invasion of privacy, and intentional mental distress of mental distress.”

A widow’s lawyer claims that the photo was posted on the phone of 28 LA officers, some of whom belonged to firefighters.

The proceedings will begin next month.
