Speaking after his victory, Poston said: “It’s just hard to play with a lead. It’s a little more wire-to-wire pressure, I had pretty much had my head since Thursday.

“I told all the media after every round that I was just trying to stick to my game plan, but the truth is it’s hard not to think about the finish line and all that comes with it. victoire.

“Even if you try to put it all aside, it’s hard not to.”

England’s Callum Tarren was able to make a move early in the final round but bugged two of his final four holes en route to a one-under 70 as he was forced to settle for an even sixth place finish.
