Joe Swash talked about his favorite memories with his deceased father, always around Christmas.
The TV star sent an emotional compliment to his father when he spouted his two-year-old son, Rex, with his fiancé. Stacy Solomon.
Joe shared a lovely montage that Stacy posted on the grid with Tom Odell’s Real Love playing in the background.
The young man was over the moon to meet him while they were chasing in the garden.
The montage shows the pair building Santa’s cave and waiting for Santa to come and visit.
Joe blew away the excitement with his son, and after working hard with his mother to build Santa, he finally met Santa.
“My favorite Christmas so far … being your dad is the best gift I have ever had,” Joe began.
“The best memories with my dad are from this time of the year. Like my dad, I want you to make those memories for everyone.
“He was awesome.”
Joe’s beloved father, Ricky, a London taxi driver, died tragically with an undiagnosed heart condition when the star was just 11 years old.
In the breakdown of the show at the time, he explained:
“I miss my dad every day. I have a lot to show my dad. I have a lot of things I did and experienced so I could share it with my dad.”
Stacey also attacked their little son, saying, “My heart will never be the same again.”
She captioned the montage. “After Rose was born, Rex and I started a small project, so for a while every day it was just us.
“We wanted to build a small cave from the hut for Santa to come and visit.
“I checked every day this week to see if he was there. Today he finally came 🤩 and it was the best night ever 🥲 I saw Rex so excited Without, my heart will never be the same 😂💫.
“I love you very much. I enjoyed building the cave the most. I also had another small pickle to take care of and you were a very nice brother.
“Always 🖤 (Daddy missed the excitement 😂😉)”
Father Christmas stopped by for two months to entertain Rex and his sister Rose.
Stacy recorded the night in her Instagram story.
In one sweet photo, you can see Santa holding a young man in his arms and Stacy standing next to them with a big smile on her face.
However, the four mothers found something in Santa’s shoes when Santa captioned the post. “Tonight, a very special person visited Rexy. It was the best night ever.
Stacey later shared a video of Santa putting Rex to sleep after a night of fun activities.
Father Christmas had an apparently tired night, and he raised his legs and watched TV with Stacey in the living room.
A TV favorite joked: “Santa has become too comfortable with pickle cottages … who do you think he is?”
