Joe Sugg shared a sweet and gushing message to celebrate girlfriend Diane Buswell and Strictly partner Chris McCausland after winning on the BBC show on Saturday.
The professional dancer, 34, and Chris, 47, were crowned 2024 champions after the comedian made history as the first blind contestant and winner in the show’s history.

Joe, who first met Diane on Strictly Come Dancing in 2018, proudly shared a photo gallery praising the dancer’s hard work and “determination”.

In a series of photos, Diane proudly held a Glitterball trophy and was all smiles while Chris and Joe stood on either side of her.

Diane couldn’t hold back a smile as she held up her very own mini trophy while wearing a stunning black leather minidress and boots.
It is Diane’s first Strictly win since she reached the final last year with EastEnders partner actor Bobby Brazier, 20, but lost to Ellie Leitch and Vito Coppola.
Diane previously missed out on a win when she partnered with now-boyfriend Joe in Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton’s Glitter Ball lift in 2018.
Joe went all out to celebrate, decorating the house with a ‘2024 Winners’ banner and silver balloons, while Diane proudly held up her Glitterball trophy.
He wrote, “It’s been a long, winding, ups and downs road for seven years, but you all showed sheer determination and dedication and in the end you got there in the best way possible.” .

In this year’s highest-scoring final ever, all couples were given their respective judges’ prizes before hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman announced that Chris was the winner of the popular Glitterball Trophy. They performed three dances for the event.
After Chris won, he broke down in tears while being hugged by his fellow celebrities, and then triumphantly threw Diane over his shoulder as the audience went wild.
