James Middleton looks back on “difficult” January after the fight for clinical depression

James middleton In a candid post that looks back on his fight against mental health, he opened up about experiencing a “difficult” January on social media.
The 34-year-old was diagnosed with clinical depression more than three years ago and explained on Instagram on Tuesday that he always finds it “difficult” to deal with the first month of the year in particular.
James posted a photo of himself in khaki green outerwear standing next to four dogs in the countryside, writing:

“Some of us just survive when everyone sets new goals, sets new basic rules, and strives to be a better version of themselves …”
Brothers Duchess of Cambridge Having advanced from the worst days of clinical depression, he admitted that January of this year was still a mental struggle.
James showed his determination to tackle difficult days later in the caption and shared tips on how to stay positive.

“But I set myself a new mantra inspired by my dog,” the entrepreneur writes.
“Don’t spend every moment thinking about the future or the past. The past is imperfect, the future is imperfect, but now we can do something about it.
“So now … I’m going to hold my wife and take my dog for a long walk.”

James’ wife, Alizee Thevenet, Can be seen in the second photo. He proudly looks up at her husband when he captures them together in the pictures he took outside.
A third snap uploaded by a businessman showed Alize standing next to a group of couple dogs in short anorak and cargo pants and ready to start a walk.
James’s vulnerable post comes months after discussing how returning to nature helped him recover from clinical depression.

Last May, He marked 1,255 days since he was diagnosed I made a moving post on Instagram. There, he looked back on how he was able to cope with and improve his depression by being in the natural environment.
James talked about how the dog walk improved his mental state at the time and helped the nature of “playing an unknown part of my recovery.”
