Jackson Warne swore to always be with his younger sister Summer after the tragic death of their father Shane.

The legendary cricketer died at the age of 52 on Friday night after suffering a massive heart attack in the resort of Samujana Villas on the Thai holiday island of Ko Samui.

On Tuesday, 20-year-old Summer said she was struggling to cope with the loss of her beloved father, writing: – Speechless. I feel like I’m dreaming, waiting for someone to wake me up and tell me you’re okay.

She also shared a photo of herself toasting to her father’s legacy with a cup of his gin brand 708, along with the caption: “Here’s to you, Dad.”

Commenting on Summer’s post, Jackson’s older brother, 22, wrote: “I love you Summer, I will always be here for you [love heart emoji]’.

Shane shares Jackson, Summer and older sister Brooke, 24, with his ex-wife Simone Callahan, whom he married between 1995 and 2005.

The grieving young man was flooded with love messages from celebrities and famous friends of his family.

Warne died tragically on Friday vacation with friends in Koh Samui, Thailand. He died of “natural death”, the autopsy concluded.

He is survived by his three children, daughter Brooke, 24, son Jackson, 22, and daughter Summer, 21, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Simone Callahan, 52.

Four friends who were staying with Shane struggled to save his life for 20 minutes after he was found unconscious in a villa in their resort of Koh Samui.

Thai police said he was staying at the villa with four friends and when one of the group tried to wake Shane for food around 5pm local time, he did not respond.

Shane’s manager separately confirmed his death, saying the father of three could not be revived.

Warne became a world star in 1993, playing Mike Gatting with the so-called “Ball of the Century” – his first ball in cricket Ashes.

He continued to receive 708 test gates, tormenting teams around the world, especially Australia’s big rival England.
