Instagram models threatened to blow up the plane after demanding a glass of wine. I had the crew handcuffs.
Hannah Lee Pearson was indicted after a dramatic in-flight blunder on an Air New Zealand flight last November.
The crew began serving food and drink when they requested a glass of wine on Pearson’s flight from Melbourne to Auckland. News.com.au reported.
Pearson is said to have begun screaming abuse to members of the flight crew when she was told that her ticket did not include wine and that she had to buy wine from the menu.
According to a summary of the facts the court heard, she shouted, “I don’t give af ***, let me drink af ***.”
Following this, she is said to have stood up and shouted: “I get it myself, give me wine.”
She is also said to have called the attendant a “bitch.”
When the furious woman tried to leave her seat, the crew managed to divert her to a row of vacant seats, where she was held.
Pearson then allegedly squeezed the crew’s arms, squeezed them tightly, and then moved his head as if he were head-butting the crew.
The crew was reportedly concerned about Pearson’s continued efforts to leave his seat because Pearson was near the emergency exit.
She also allegedly continued to shout, “Give me a glass of wine, or I’ll blow up the plane.”
According to a summary of the facts, Pearson was handcuffed by the crew, who used spare seat belts to secure her to the chair.
Her chaotic behavior continued with “totally ignoring other passengers in the neighborhood, including infants,” the summary said.
There were 72 other passengers on board.
Pearson was said to have fallen asleep about 90 minutes before arriving at Auckland Airport, but continued to have diabetes after landing in New Zealand.
Pearson appeared in the Christchurch District Court on Wednesday, admitting chaotic behavior and destructive behavior against the crew.
She appeared before Judge Alistair Garland, who asked her lawyer if she had alcohol problems.
Pearson admitted that alcohol was a problem in the past.
